Tina Pagotto, MSW, Chief Executive Officer, came to Bethesda Project in 2005, while she was pursuing her Masters in Social Work. She spent four years as development associate and was involved in all aspects of fundraising and development. Tina was promoted to Director of Housing, served as COO for three years, before assuming her current role as CEO. She is responsible for management and direction of the overall organization, establishing and implementing strategic goals in collaboration with Board of Directors and senior staff, representing the organization in the greater community, shared responsibility for fundraising efforts in conjunction with Development team, creating and adhering to the annual budget for operations of the organization, direct supervision of senior leadership team, and membership on all Board-level committees. Tina is a Teach for America alumnus, a member of the Forum of Executive Women, currently serves as Secretary of the South Street West Business Association, and was voted the 2018 Housing and Community Development Innovator by Social Innovations Journal.
