Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week
NOVEMBER 10TH - 18TH, 2018
Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program bringing people together across the country to draw attention to issues surrounding hunger and homelessness. In 2018, Bethesda Project helped raise awareness for its mission and accomplishments in homeless services in Philadelphia. Check out our participation in #HHAWs of years past --> 2016 | 2017
NOVEMBER 13th
6 pm - 8 pm
Young Involved Philly and Bethesda Project hosted a panel discussion on homelessness with community partners.
NOVEMBER 14th
1 pm - 3 pm
Guests, residents, volunteers and staff joined together for a fun afternoon of festivities at Old First Reformed Church, where our most competitive cookers contended for 1st place in this clash of the casseroles.
November 14th
5 pm - 7 pm
Bethesda Project received 100% of every Liberty Pilsner (Local 44/Manayunk collaboration) draft poured at Local 44 during HHAWeek! There was also a chance to win some great craft beer-centric raffle prizes furnished by Local 44's Bottle Shop.
November 20th
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Our Young Professionals Advisory Board raised funds and awareness for Bethesda Project at their annual HHAW Fundraising Happy Hour at Brickwall Tavern.
November 16th

Schmear It once again raised funds for Bethesda Project for the entire month of November. Follow @SchmearIt to see where their truck is, or stop by their University City locations to have breakfast for a good cause at any time of year!
